How to make your planner look clean and not like a mess

Okay, let's be real. Most planners end up looking like a battlefield. Scribbles everywhere, arrows pointing to nothing, and just total chaos. It's actually stressful just looking at it. 🤯
If you want a planner that actually helps you instead of making you want to delete your life, you need "Visual Hierarchy." It sounds fancy, but it just means putting things in the right place so your brain can relax.
The "Top-to-Bottom" Trick
Your brain naturally looks at the top of a page first. So, don't put your grocery list there. Put the big, scary stuff at the top. Once that's done, the rest of the day feels like a breeze.
How to split your day
| Where? | What? |
|---|---|
| The Top | The hard stuff (Deep work) |
| The Middle | Meetings, DMs, calls |
| The Bottom | Chill stuff, habits, gym |
Leave some space, seriously
The biggest mistake is filling every single line. If your planner is 100% full, you're going to fail. Life happens. Someone calls, a meeting runs late, or you just need a snack. 🍕
The Power of White Space
Always leave at least two or three empty boxes in your vertical column. It gives your brain room to breathe. When you see white space, you feel in control.
Just try it tomorrow. Split your column into three. Big stuff top, busy stuff middle, chill stuff bottom. Let's go! 🚀
